Bacon Meatballs with BBQ

  • 9 oz. Ground Beef

  • 9 oz. Hot Dog, cut in small dice
  • 2/3 cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 7 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
  • 6 Bacon Slices
  • Your choice of BBQ Sauce

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl mix together ground beef, hot dog, bread crumbs, onion, garlic and egg.

With the palm of your hands, form meatballs the size of a golf ball. Insert a small piece of mozzarella cheese in the center.

Wrap each ball around with bacon and hold the bacon with a toothpick.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.

Take out and add an abundant amount of your favorite BBQ sauce. Make sure to cover the balls fully. Bake for 5 minutes.
