Who doesn’t love Garlic Bread?  Here is a way to make garlic bread taste even better by adding a few extra ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry.  By using Ahuacatlan Avocado Oil, to replace the butter, it will also be very healthy and taste just like you were using real butter.

Ingredients:

  •     A loaf of any type of Italian bread
  •     8 oz of Ahuacatlan Avocado Oil
  •     5 cloves of garlic–finely chopped
  •     1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  •     1 teaspoon of dried dill
  •     1/2 teaspoon of oregano
  •     1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  •     Pinch of cayenne pepper

Heat up oven to 350 degrees.  Slice your favorite Italian bread.  Then in a medium bowl add all ingredients and whisk together.   With a cooking brush, paint one side of each slice of the bread.  Then put loaf back together and wrap entirely with foil.  Bake at 350 degrees for around 20 minutes.  Then uncover the top of the bread, and turn the broiler on for 2 minutes.  Make sure not to burn the bread.

You will find that your garlic bread will taste so delicious that you and your guest will be wondering how it disappeared so quickly at the table.
