- 1 tbs. Ahuacatlan Natural (plus additional to fry)
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 2 tbs. Red Hot Sauce
- ½ cup Onion, chopped
- ½ cup Scallions
- 2 tsp. Garlic, minced
- ½ tbs. Ginger, grated
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- Empanada Dough Disks (packaged)
In a sautee pan, add 1 tbs. Ahuacatlan Natural, and sautee the ground beef until fully cooked, about 20 minutes
Add the red hot sauce, onion, scallions, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and 1 tbs. Ahuacatlan Natural and simmer until the ingredients come together.
Add a spoonful of the beef filling to each empanada disk and seal the edge with egg wash.
In a frying pan, add a good amount of Ahuacatlan Oil to fry the empanadas. Fry until golden brown (or about 10 minutes), and pat dry with a paper towel to remove the excess.
